Lensey is a photo assistant for iOS and Android, built by an independent developer who used to juggle three apps before every shoot: a golden hour calculator, a notebook full of camera settings, and an editor for the way home.

The idea was simple. Photography has three phases — planning the light, choosing the settings, and finishing the photo — and no app in my pocket covered more than one of them. Lensey covers all three, and its advice is tuned to the camera and lens you actually own, not to a generic average.

It is built slowly and carefully, feature by feature, with feedback from real photographers. No investor deck, no growth team — one person who wanted this tool to exist and decided to make it.
